1. Competition Overview
Amp Arena is a coding competition featuring four qualifying rounds leading to a final arena battle. The winner receives a prize of $1,000,000. By participating, contestants agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in their country of residence. Employees of Amp Arena organizers and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must have legal work authorization
- Cannot be an employee or family member of organizers
- Must complete all registration requirements
3. Competition Structure
The competition consists of:
- Four online qualifying rounds
- Four finalists selected each week
- Live final competition in San Francisco on October 29th, 2025
- Winner-takes-all format for the $1,000,000 prize
4. Registration and Participation
Registration is free and open until capacity is reached. Participants must provide accurate information and maintain active communication throughout the competition period.
5. Code of Conduct
All participants must conduct themselves professionally and ethically. Cheating, plagiarism, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
6. Prize Information
The $1,000,000 prize will be awarded to the winner of the final arena battle. Prize is subject to applicable taxes and regulations. Winner is responsible for all tax obligations.
7. Intellectual Property
Participants retain ownership of their original code submissions. By participating, contestants grant Amp Arena limited rights to use submissions for promotional and competition purposes.
8. Privacy and Data
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for competition administration and communication. We do not sell or share participant data with third parties.
9. Liability and Disclaimers
Amp Arena organizers are not liable for technical issues, internet connectivity problems, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control that may affect participation.
10. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated with notice to registered participants. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
